Bonnie Jean Ginsbach, age 89, of Belle Fourche died Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 19, 1930 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Walter C. and Edith (Sinkey) Forde. Bonnie graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1949.
Bonnie married Ronald Scott and to this marriage, Robert was born. They later divorced. She married Arthur Somervold and to this marriage, Yolanda, Genee, Pam, Pat, and Art were born. Following his death, she married Henry “Bud” Ginsbach and Bud had two children, Wesley and Sandee and to this marriage Cindy was born.
Bonnie was a bookkeeper for Ginsbach Excavating. She was a member of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary. She coached softball and helped create post prom. She was a member of the Christian Life Center and was a volunteer in many organizations. She was a past cub scout leader and a member of Alanon.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Dan) Stover, Art Somervold, Pam Somervold all of Belle Fourche, SD, Pat (Mike) Collins of Gillette, WY, Genee Somervold of Kellogg, MN, Yolanda (Doug) Graslie of Buffalo, WY, Bob (Teresa) Somervold of Belle Fourche, Buck (Julie) Ginsbach of Newell, SD, SanDee Wright of Belle Fourche, SD; sister-in-law, Midge Forde of Benson, AZ; 26 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edith Forde; husbands, Art Somervold and Bud Ginsbach; sisters, Charlotte Raetz and Bobbie Miller; brothers, Stanley Forde and Jerry Forde; granddaughter, Stacie Pierce.
A Ceremonial Tribute will be held Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Life Center in Belle Fourche with pastor Paul Howard officiating.
Inurnment will take place Monday, December 9 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
